Under God's Care
"For the land which you go to possess is not like the land of Egypt... It is a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year." – Deuteronomy 11:10-12 NKJV
Reflection
God’s care for us is both continual and intentional. Not only does He see us, but He also sees where He is leading us—a future filled with His provision and protection. The journey into His promises is not like the striving of spiritual Egypt, where we pursued our own will and ways apart from Him. Instead, we walk in His strength and direction.
Application
As you step into this new year, take heart, knowing that God’s eyes are always upon you. He watches over every detail of your life with unwavering care. Trust Him to guide your steps, provide for your needs, and protect you in every season. Rejoice in the assurance that you dwell in Him, safe and secure. Fix your eyes upon Him, and walk forward in faith into all He has prepared for you.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for Your continual care over my life. I rejoice in the truth that Your eyes are upon me, from the beginning of the year to the very end. Help me to trust Your guidance and rest in Your provision and protection. I commit this year to You and step forward in faith, with my eyes fixed on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
