What Shall We Do?

Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” – John 6:28–29 

Reflection

Like the disciples, we wonder if what we do is enough. Jesus reminds us that faith, not performance, pleases God. Our role is to believe in Him, trusting He will lead us into His works. Every act of love and prayer done in His name has an impact. We should do everything through our faith in Him and for Him.

Application

Choose faith over striving to earn God’s approval

Believe that nothing done in His name is too small

Rest as His vessel, ready for His work through you
