Do We Know He Hears Us?

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 

1 John 5:14

Reflection

Prayer is powerful because it rests on God’s attentive ear and loving heart. He hears more than words; He discerns the cries of our spirit. Confidence grows when we pray according to His will, knowing His answer is already at work. Even when outcomes look different from what we expect, His response is always best.

Pray with confidence, knowing God hears every word

Seek His will in prayer instead of leaning on your desires

Rest in the assurance that He is already working on your behalf

Thank You, Lord, for the privilege to come boldly to Your throne of grace. Help me pray according to Your will and stand by faith when the answer doesn’t meet my expectations. Strengthen my confidence in Your promises. In Jesus' name. Amen!
